10th Agritec Africa Exhibition to Showcase Agricultural Innovations in Nairobi

Nairobi, Kenya – May 2, 2025 – The 10th Agritec Africa Exhibition and Conference on Agriculture Technologies is set to take place from June 11-13, 2025, at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi. This premier event will bring together 175 companies from 25 countries to showcase cutting-edge innovations in farming, dairy, livestock, poultry, and grain sectors, driving Kenya’s agricultural transformation.

Organized to foster technological advancements and global collaboration, Agritec Africa 2025 will serve as a platform for farmers, agribusinesses, and policymakers to explore solutions to challenges like climate change, low productivity, and market access. The event will feature exhibitions of modern farming equipment, precision agriculture tools, and sustainable practices aimed at boosting yields and resilience.

“This year’s Agritec Africa is a milestone in promoting innovation for sustainable agriculture,” said Elizabeth Mwangi, an event spokesperson. “With participants from across the globe, we’re creating opportunities for Kenyan farmers to adopt technologies that can transform their operations and livelihoods.”

Highlights of the conference include workshops on smart farming techniques, panel discussions on climate-resilient agriculture, and networking sessions to connect local farmers with international suppliers and investors. The event will also spotlight advancements in dairy and poultry production, critical sectors for Kenya’s rural economy, which contributes approximately 22% to the nation’s GDP.

Exhibitors will showcase innovations such as automated irrigation systems, hybrid seeds, and livestock management technologies, tailored to the needs of smallholder and large-scale farmers alike. Representatives from countries including India, China, Germany, and Brazil are expected to participate, bringing diverse expertise to address Africa’s agricultural challenges.

The event comes at a pivotal time as Kenya seeks to enhance food security and agricultural exports amidst climate and policy challenges. “Agritec Africa is a game-changer,” said Peter Kimani, a farmer from Kiambu County. “Last year, I discovered new tools that doubled my productivity. I’m excited to see what’s next.”

The 10th Agritec Africa Exhibition is open to farmers, agribusiness professionals, and the public, with registration details available through the official event website. As Kenya continues to position itself as a hub for agricultural innovation, this event promises to catalyze progress toward a more productive and sustainable future for the sector.
