This visionary plan, officially launched by H.E. Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi, President of Zanzibar, serves as a cornerstone for transformative socio-economic and sectoral growth over the next 25 years. The current review phase of this draft focuses on incorporating feedback from stakeholders across various sectors, including agriculture, industries, and investments.
In his remarks, Hon. Prof. Kitila Mkumbo, Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office (Planning and Investment), emphasized that the period from December 2024 to January 2025 is crucial for ensuring citizens’ and stakeholders’ inputs are integrated before the Vision is finalized.
