Hussein Bashe, to promote youth involvement in agriculture is not a small task. It is bringing much-needed respect to the sector,” Kirenga added.
Kirenga also commended the Minister of Livestock and Fisheries for demonstrating that livestock and fishing can significantly contribute to wealth creation and increased income opportunities. “The work of our Minister of Livestock is great, showing that livestock and fishing are sectors that can bring wealth and increase income,” he said.
He encouraged the young attendees to act as ambassadors, sharing the knowledge and insights gained during the congress with their peers. “You who have attended this congress are now ambassadors. Go back and encourage your peers, share the knowledge you have gained, and promote the potential of agriculture,” Kirenga urged.
